Samantha Torrence, Social Media Chair, is the mother of four, an avid reader, and a freelance writer who has written for a number of online news sites, including several oriented toward employment, politics and law.  She enjoys helping others, especially those who are raising children, which she is doing as a young mother of four.  Her diverse interests coupled with an enthusiasm for giving people news they can use makes her a decided asset to Green Heritage News.

Samantha is the “turn-to” administrator for special support with website function, editing and advisement on management details for authors and area editors.

What makes Samantha a stand-out in journalism is her ability to look for the most creative, dynamic and useful information she can find on any given subject.  She takes what might be the mundane and makes it interesting to others because she finds what is of common interest among people.  Besides that her obvious love in being a mother, and her understanding of what young women need as they help their children grow and learn, is useful to others as well.  But this is not an ordinary housewife either because Samantha looks at the whole world as a place to grow and learn, finds interesting issues and ideas and brings them home to the rest of us.
